I grew up in Berlin,  I went there to  primary, and high school and I've studied at the Technical University Berlin and for  a little while in Passau.   My whole family ist still living in Berlin.

Then I came for studying to Berkeley and  decided to come back to the Bay Area. 
After my PhD, I 've started  working at Kestrel Institute as a researcher.
