THE SEVENTH WORLD CONFERENCE ON INTEGRATED DESIGN & PROCESS TECHNOLOGY

Austin, Texas December 3-5, 2003

You are invited to participate in the Seventh International Conference
on Integrated Design and Process Technology (IDPT) to be held
December 3-5, 2003 in Austin, Texas. The IDPT Conference is a major
international forum for the integration of design and process technologies to create a symbiotic relationship among scientists, engineers, software developers, decision makers, and other critical thinkers.

CONFERENCE PAPERS

The conference program will consist of invited and selected papers
emphasizing knowledge integration through the study of processes
leading to the delivery of a more robust, high–quality line of products, software and services. Plenary sessions and keynote addresses will be presented by prominent speakers. All technical papers will be reviewed by the Program Technical Committee and by three independent peer referees. All accepted papers will be published
in the conference proceedings. Furthermore, competitively selected papers will be reviewed for publication in the SDPS Transactions:
Journal of Integrated Design and Process Science.
The main topics of the year 2003 IDPT Conference are: Telecommunications; Healthcare Engineering; Electronic Commerce and Web Technology; Computer and Software Engineering; Design and Process Engineering and Science; Integrated Design and Manufacturing; General Design, Business Process Re-engineering and Science; Process Management and Improvement, Information Systems Engineering; Data Warehouse Technology; Technology Transfer.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The Academy for Transdisciplinary Learning & Advanced Studies
(TheATLAS) will start publishing series of books in Knowledge Based
Design related subjects. Selected papers in the following topics will
be included in the first series of the book entitled “Knowledge Based
Design Series”:
Knowledge Management Strategies; Knowledge Based Design and
Process; Knowledge Sharing and Reuse; Technology for Knowledge-
Based Collaborative Engineering; Design and Development of
Knowledge Sharing Systems; Knowledge storage & Retrieve; Knowledge
Respositories, Knowledge Based Design Representation, and
Axiomatic Design
